"I'll huff and I'll puff until I go red in the face, and let's see how they like that!!"

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has warned petrol companies not to unnecessarily put their prices up before Easter.

ACCC chairman Graham Samuel wrote to the major companies on Friday, saying they had better have a good reason to raise their prices in the lead-up to the holidays.

Mr Samuel said, "If the oil companies don't behave responsibly I will ... I will get really angry ... really, really angry and ... and let me tell you this for nothing, that'll wipe the smile off their spreadsheets ... and then I'll get even more really, really angry and I'll come down on them like a ton of bricks ... and .. and ... I'll really show them I'm serious and I won't hesitate to tell them not to do it at Xmas time and again next Easter if I have to."

Laws prevent petrol profiteering crackdown: ACCC Has anything changed since them? (Not a rhetorical, but a genuine question.)
